- X Bomb radar — this letter is not in the word, but a bomb sits one alphabet step away. X turns blue when W or Y is a bomb.
- Q Cold — not in the word, and no bombs within one alphabet step.
- M BOMB! — you typed a live bomb letter. The row detonates: you lose 1 life and the whole guess — its intel is destroyed.
